There's not much parking available.
I spent 10 months here, and the place was completely unsatisfactory. The main problems were poor management, a heating system that barely worked, constant mess, very thin walls, and Wi-Fi that worked whenever it felt like it. The walls are so thin you can hear a neighbor scratching his head, and if your room is near the kitchen, there's little peace. The manager even came to yell at us for cooking and making noise at 9pm, when we were using one of the two working burners. The internet could take half an hour to load a page. Mobile data wasn't much help because reception is poor at the top of the hill. When I complained, I was told I didn't know how to use it and that it worked. The manager is the owner's son, and, in my experience, his usual response to problems was that they weren't his responsibility. The washing machine had been broken for two weeks. When I asked if he'd call a repairman, he said he'd forgotten and that someone was coming the next day. The room stayed around 16 degrees all winter, and he said he didn't know what to do. The heating broke after working for two days, so he called his cousin to fix it. The boiler seemed older than me, and its pressure would climb to 5 if nobody watched it. He said he didn't know and told me to call my dad and try to persuade him to replace it. His only administrative task seemed to be forwarding his dad's message that we had to pay maintenance. We weren't given the bills, so we didn't know what the charge covered. There was little heat in winter, and hot water lasted no more than five minutes in the shower. If you said the boiler was broken, they'd send a tutorial on using a tap, as if you didn't know how. The shared areas were always dirty. The sink was full of dishes, black mold grew on the chopping board, and what was left of the cupboard doors kept falling off. I won't even get into the bathroom. It might be clogged, and then they'd call you, because apparently that's not the manager's responsibility. During Easter break, while the dorm was empty, the owner entered all the rooms without warning. I considered that a breach of contract. Near the end, when we had just two prepaid months left and there was no more money to collect from us, they suddenly threatened to kick us out, using "not respecting the contract" as a pretext to take our deposit. If you like living in filth, being cold, and constantly hearing that the owner has 0 responsibilities toward you, I recommend it.
They were extremely nice until they had our money. After that, they seemed not to care about anything. Everyone did what they wanted, and although there were rules in the contract, they didn't exist in practice. This was my worst experience so far, and I was very disappointed. The living conditions were bad for such an exaggerated price. The washing machine kept breaking and showing errors. Every time I reported it, they promised to fix it, but nothing happened. The towels had stains on them, and at that price you'd expect clean towels, along with words and TVs in the rooms. It's a 15-minute walk to the nearest station and 24 minutes to another one. The place is on a hill, so without a car or excellent fitness I'd avoid it. In winter, be careful you don't end up with a fracture. They call it a parking lot, but it only fits 3, 4 cars if that.
There was minor construction going on when I visited. The bathroom was shared, and the rooms had neither a TV nor a refrigerator. The conditions didn't justify the price, so I wouldn't recommend it.
