The location is handy for the beach, with Modern and Neversea both nearby. You can rent loungers and umbrellas there, or just spread out your own towel to sunbathe. Breakfast is a limited buffet, but it was satisfactory. The hotel itself was decent.

The sea view and location were the highlights for me. The balcony was huge and lovely, and it’s an easy walk to the beach, right at the end of the pedestrian route into downtown. Inside, the high ceilings and marble countertops were a nice surprise. The room and bathroom need updating, though, and cleaning could be better. There’s no safe, the outlets seem sketchy, and the old tub and shower felt hazardous. I’d call it about a 4.5.

We got our money’s worth. It’s a decent hotel right by the beach, though the furniture dates from when it opened in 2002. Breakfast is limited but enough to get the day going. The bed squeaks, and the bathroom fan is really loud.

The rooms were spacious, looked clean, and were fairly quiet, and Modern beach is really close. But the breakfast was a bad joke, and the nightly rate felt pretty steep for what you get.

The location works well, close to the beach, old city centre, and a bus stop. Staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and breakfast was nice. At Easter they even gave us painted eggs and sweet bread, which was very thoughtful. I still don’t know why we weren’t given shower gel on the second day.
