Quartz Boutique Hotel

Breakfast was really good, and the schedule was flexible. The hotel works for both business trips and romantic getaways, and there were families with young kids and shift workers among the other guests. It felt worth every dollar or lei. This is a small, modern, family-run hotel, with friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. Our hosts went out of their way to help us find a great nearby restaurant and arrange flower delivery for our anniversary. The beach is about a five-minute walk across a footbridge. You’re right in the middle of Mamaia’s action, but the triple-glazed windows shut out the noise easily when you want them to.

Cristina was so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The location is ideal, just a five-minute walk from the beach and park. My room was clean and comfortable, and I was especially glad to have an orthopaedic mattress. My back always misses one when I’m away from home. Thanks!

The owner is often at reception, and she’s kind, helpful, and really attentive to guests. Her approach to running the place is excellent. Breakfast is served at the table, with vegetables, cheese, and eggs alongside the cold cuts and sausages or bacon. That makes it perfectly fine for vegetarians, and it could work well for vegans with a few changes. There’s also a generous fruit platter and bread each day, plus high-end Italian coffee. All the staff spoke English, so I’d recommend it to travelers from abroad. The hotel is elegant, beautiful, spotless, and well maintained. Its location is great too: the CiTy Tour bus stop and Mamaia cable car (telegondola) station are about 100 meters away, and you can walk to the beach in 3-5 minutes.

The owners were flexible about check-in and check-out and open to suggestions. Everything felt clean and good quality, and the service and accommodation were very good. Breakfast was great too. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone wanting comfort and to feel safe.
