The room was spacious, the breakfast decent, and there was a hair dryer in the bathroom plus plenty of room for towels, which isn't always the case. Staff were friendly. A bunch of design and installation details felt carelessly done. Neither the shower nor the sink had a shelf for toiletries. The balcony door only had a handle inside, and the seaside wind kept blowing it open while I was out there. All the light switches were upside-down. The bathroom drain foamed up when shower gel went down, which made me think the wrong part had been installed. It took ages for hot water to reach the third floor, so my shower started cold. I think it was about 15 minutes before the water warmed up. The sink's water pressure was abysmal. At breakfast, one of my travel companions found a quarter of a steel sponge thread stuck in a piece of cheese. The owners should spend a day in their own hotel and see what needs fixing before calling it a true 4-star.

Very clean and well run, with a good spot near the old town. Each room has a small balcony, and there's private parking. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly. Recommended.

There were bed bugs in room 34. I saw one, got bitten all over, and had an allergic reaction.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was meant to arrive tonight, but at 6 pm, just three hours before reception closed, the receptionist or manager called to say it shut at 21:30 and nobody would be there to check me in after that. I'd called twice to make a reservation, the first time canceling because of another conflict, and nobody mentioned that this 4-star hotel closes its reception at 21:30. I wouldn't have booked if I'd known. Then the receptionist had the nerve to hurry me along and say she'd give the room to whoever came then and cancel our reservation. I don't recommend it.

Breakfast is on the fifth floor, with an amazing view where you can watch the sunrise. The food was good, though the coffee wasn't so great. The area is very green and close to the park, and the staff were nice and helpful. Our room was big, with AC and free parking, and the beaches and old town were fairly close. There was some sand in the enclosure, so I think they should pay more attention to cleaning. Still, it was a good weekend experience.
