Voila Inn Constanta

We arrived around 9 p.m., got a good night’s sleep, and enjoyed a tasty European breakfast the next morning. I’m really grateful to the Voila Inn staff. The team was wonderful and made us feel well looked after. Many thanks and best wishes. I highly recommend it.

The location is the one good thing. The house smells old and musty, and the cleanliness is below standard. The TV is outdated, awkwardly placed, and there’s no power outlet available for it. I wouldn’t consider this suitable for families with children.

The hotel’s in a great spot in the old part of Constanta, so you can walk around the historic area, and breakfast was included and good. Our bathroom was large, and the room was reasonably clean, though there was dust. The building itself is old, and the floorboards creak so much you hear every step from your roommate or people in the hall. They use a modern electronic door key, but there was nobody at reception, so it was hard to get hotel or city information. We paid through Booking and could come and go without anyone checking in or even greeting us. They really need more staff to welcome guests.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the room was reasonably clean. The breakfast was very good, and the restaurant has a 270 degree view over the old city center and the sea. Private parking was a big plus. For a city break in Constanta City Center, the price and quality deserve five stars. The place is a bit old and the rooms are pretty small. Light sleepers should bring earplugs, since the walls aren’t very soundproof, and a crying baby next door might keep you up.
