Complex Equinox

Really good.

A cozy, pleasant place.

House no. 4 was so good that five stars don’t feel like enough, and we’re glad we chose this complex. We’d happily come back. It’s a clean, peaceful place with lovely people, and there’s a terrace, pool table, ping-pong table, and a big barbecue. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking if you’d rather not eat at a restaurant or fast food place. There are also plenty of things to enjoy around the complex.

For what we paid, I expected basic upkeep during our stay, but we were never asked if we needed anything. We spent 11 days there in August 2023 at 400 RON/day. No fresh towels, cleaning, or linen change was offered. We had to ask for toilet paper, and bought a broom, dustpan, disinfectant for the bathroom fixtures, and replacement trash bags, emptying the bins ourselves each day. The rooms are spacious, and the shared kitchen has what you need to cook, though the good-quality pans were ruined and hadn’t been replaced. The barbecue area is neglected, and the back green space has dirty cushions and a broken clothes dryer, giving it a run-down feel. The living and dining area has lots of incomplete games and toys, most of them unusable. I wouldn’t have minded these issues as much at a lower price. The place has a lot of potential, and some repairs, replacements, and attention to detail could make a real difference.
