The treatment center was crowded, and the gym doesn’t have free hours. The dining room is separate from the pension’s lounge, and while it looks good with decent furniture, it doesn’t give the place a spa feel. The food was very good, and the woman serving at the table was super kind. I’ve spent seven years in the CV, and it’s a beautiful place. I also came by two weeks before my stay to look around, since I’d booked somewhere higher toward Poiana. Monica was at reception then, smiling and in a good mood. I told her I’d be coming on August 17, and she was very kind and reassuring. When we arrived, she was gone and we were assigned a standard room that was much too small. With Atena, the reception manager, I managed to get the suite for five days. I don’t know if I’ll return. The suite was okay, but its sofa is broken, and the manager knows about it. There are new bathroom fittings, though the dishwasher has rubber on the tiles!? I didn’t post earlier because it was the end of the season. Please be careful when booking on the website. We’re not fussy, but we’re over 55 and wanted a spa and a bit of peace and quiet. The back side is definitely quieter. At the front, it isn’t peaceful during the season. The small bathroom has no shower cabin. The rooms are clean. The listed price is much higher than what it’s worth. I booked through Bacolux at a distance, using the BF offer. Consider the suite or apartment, but no changes are made without Mr. Robert’s consent. It’s very good, but discuss everything with the guest. The treatment arrangements with the pension house don’t seem right for people going on holiday. I heard from a tourist who had been going on their own for 20 years. The pension house alone isn’t a spa. I think Bacolux has done a lot of good there, though I don’t know about the investments. I stayed in the area in August 2025, and it was a modest three stars. The Garden of Eden in the picture doesn’t match what it was like in 2025. Dnl Robert deserves the Garden of Eden, especially the name. Look at the picture, what it was and what it is now. What a shame. Hephaestus opposite is abandoned. The Garden of Eden in the picture was worth it. When will it be like that again? It isn’t there yet. I appreciate Mr. Robert’s effort, but honestly, if you call to reserve, call again when you arrive. I go through the CV year by year and review the status. I edited this post about the access ramp, luggage, and disabilities. Why is access blocked? No one had the idea or the key to the door? Maybe now you understand the importance and obligation of access in public facilities with traffic.
