We booked four nights starting May 17, 2026, on March 21. Since I’d seen at least two reviews from would-be guests describing the same problem, I messaged on May 15 to make sure our booking was still good. About half a day later, they replied that an “unexpected situation” meant they couldn’t honor it. They offered to move us to another date, but that didn’t work for us. When we were last in Covasna, we toured the hotel and thought the rooms and spa looked very nice. Still, why would we trust another booking to go through? The only way I could confirm I had a reservation at all was to request an email confirmation. They don’t seem to have a real booking process in place. Someone must have missed the class on reservation systems in hotel management school.

On the north side above Covasna city, beside the hunting grounds, this hotel is a cozy, very clean place with lovely staff. The spa is nice and the restaurant serves good food. In summer you can walk in the woods, and in winter you can ski. I’d recommend it for a relaxing retreat with friends or family.

The indoor pool is big and there’s a dry sauna, plus the room was clean and the beds comfortable. We had a really good breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the location is very nice. We did miss having a balcony, coffee or a minibar in the room.

The good parts were the location, roomy terrace, excellent bed, cleanliness, view, amenities and reception. The restaurant was a letdown: lots of deep-fried food, vegetables that seemed like they came from a hypermarket, and unsophisticated flavors and recipes. The cheap mini-fridges were so noisy that sleeping with one on was nearly impossible, and our TV had a large black line across the middle. There’s no AC either. We skipped the small spa during our five-day stay. It might have been a little more appealing without crowds of noisy children and/or sexy grandpas there all day.
