The hosts are helpful, breakfast has a nice range, and there's a private place to park a boat. Prices are moderate, and most of the food is good. A few things got in the way: the room key also opens the other rooms, and the walls are so thin you can hear the neighbor snoring. TV reception is poor. When we asked for another serving of polenta with the fried fish, we were told the other guests had finished it. The fish itself was nearly dry from being overcooked.

John's enthusiasm and knowledge of the Danube made our boat tour a highlight. The hosts were so accommodating and welcoming, going out of their way to make us feel at home. The place was a perfect 10 for me, better than any five-star hotel I've stayed in. I'd definitely recommend staying here and booking the tour too.

The boat trips to nearby spots for exploring were a real treat. Our hosts were open, lovely, and attentive, and the meals were delicious. A great place for families with children, with a lovely location and people ready to help you have a good time.

We came for boat tours in the Delta, and Joan picked us up in Murighol and arranged parking for our camper. He was helpful and caring throughout our stay. He's a real nature lover who knows the plants and animals here, cares about the Delta's wildlife, follows the rules, and teaches guests to do the same. Joan and Elena were wonderful hosts. They looked after us while giving us the space we needed. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and high quality, with everything you could need in the hot summer weather. The meals were heavenly, with delicious local produce: fresh fish cooked in all sorts of ways, cheese, vegetables, cow's milk, and freshly made butter. Casa Cain and Joan&Elena made this a dream stay. I'd give them 50 stars if I could.
