Three years ago, on the night of March 11, we came to Hotel Wien while fleeing the war in Ukraine. We were traveling with three children and their grandmother and worried we might not have enough money. We hadn’t asked anyone for help, but the receptionist realized we were from Ukraine and immediately offered us two rooms for free. It was unbelievable and meant so much to us. 🇷🇴🤝🇺🇦 We’ve now had a fantastic stay here as well. The food was varied and delicious, the atmosphere felt luxurious, and everyone on staff was kind and helpful. Thank you for your generosity and kindness. We highly recommend the hotel! ❤️

I slept well, and the room was warm enough during my winter stay. The service was friendly, too. The room and bathroom are spacious, but they’re old and need renovation. I found it a bit overpriced, and the breakfast wasn’t worth it. I stayed just one night. The surroundings are industrial and post-communist, not a pretty setting. A rating of 4+ seems overrated.

I slept really well here, and it was handy to be able to charge the car. The hotel was very comfortable!!!

We had booked 5 double rooms for 8 people. Two of our group checked in, then the other 2 arrived an hour later, after we’d already been waiting 2 hours. They wouldn’t let those two in ……

The room was clean, and the ladies we saw coming and going seemed friendly. Still, it didn’t feel worth the money. The sheets were cheap and pilled, everything looked and smelled old, and the place definitely isn’t a 4 star hotel. Our TV didn’t work and the AC barely worked. It was late, and there was no staff around to tell. It’s beside a railway in an industrial area, which leaves a lot to be desired. We were only passing through town, so it was manageable for us, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay.
