Zenti Plaza Hotel

The restaurant looks nice, and I liked the wall and ceiling decorations, but the rest of the visit was frustrating. We waited 80 minutes for pizza, which arrived cold. Mine was handed straight to me instead of being placed on the table, and nobody asked if I needed cutlery. The pizza was very oily, with salami burnt about 3 mm along the edges, pink in the middle and charred on one side. When I asked for hot sauce, the waiter said it would take too long. The service was poor from the start. My drink was left at the far corner of the table, a friend ordered black tea and received something else, and the waiter didn't ask what I wanted to drink when we ordered food. There were no reserved signs, but an annoyed waiter still told my friends and me to move. We weren't asked whether we wanted ketchup or another sauce with the pizza, either. The atmosphere didn't help. The music, including Eminem and gangsta rap, was too loud and didn't suit a relaxing dinner. The lighting was so dim I couldn't see the olives on my pizza. I only visited the restaurant. In the men's bathroom, the toilet door had no lock, the hand dryer barely worked, and there were no paper towels, so you'd end up drying your hands on your pants.

Even though the place was almost empty, my lemonade took 30 minutes to arrive. The staff weren't friendly, and when I complained that they'd forgotten my order, I got an angry reaction. You also can't pay for a drink by credit card at reception. In 2020, it's sad that credit cards aren't accepted.

There wasn't even a window in the room, just a skylight, and no air conditioning. They gave some silly explanation about underfloor cooling, despite the carpet. What rubbish, it isn't worth even one star!

Really poor rooms and bad service. Don't go there.
