The area is surprisingly quiet even though the Black sea is only a few steps away. Lake Belona has also been beautifully transformed and makes a lovely spot for a walk. Hotel Anca has had some impressive upgrades and renovations. There are restaurants and charming little corner shops just minutes away, with different food, activities, souvenirs, and other things to buy. The owners are amazing and give personal service. A lovely place, highly recommended.

We've had both pleasant and less pleasant experiences since we first started visiting Romania. For the past three years, though, we've been coming to Hotel Anca, and the service has been faultless. The rooms are very good, the beach is just around the corner, and the owners are approachable and courteous. The price is really affordable, too. See you next year, guys, if all goes well!

The room furniture is quite old, and so is the overall look of the room. The mattress isn't very comfortable, you can feel the springs when you lie down. Some rooms face a busy road and railway, and with the window open it's very, very noisy. The shower water isn't always hot. On the plus side, the rooms are clean and equipped to standard, and the employees are nice and try to solve problems. The hotel is about 50 meters from the beach, on its relatively quiet section, which really matters.

There's a nice terasa and free WiFi, and both the yard and the inside are very clean. The staff are extremely courteous. The parking is enough, either in their lot or outside across the road. It's close to the beach, and you can use the back gate to get there and back quickly.

There's an outdoor pool, the conditions are good, and the bathroom is large. First-floor rooms are a bit dark. Their windows face the hallway, with only a small window looking outside.
