The location is the main draw: it's near the beach and in the middle of a mix of Slavic and wannabe-modern architecture. We also had a pleasant view of the lake after sunset, when the unfinished buildings around it weren't visible anymore. The room was clean but modest, and the price felt rather high for what was offered. We only stayed one night.

There are a couple of nearby restaurants with tasty food, and the accommodation is good and very close to the beach. The one drawback for me was having no kitchen inside, so I had to go out to get coffee. Still, I do recommend it.

The photos on Booking may date from when the hotel first opened, because it seems to have deteriorated a lot since then. The cleanliness was poor: the parquet was loose, there was mold on the shower silicone, hair blocked the shower drain, and the shower windows were covered in limescale. The balcony had cobwebs and dust, and the window in the balcony door was broken and glued together with shells. The bed creaked with every movement, making it hard to rest. Getting help was frustrating too. I waited at reception, but nobody showed up. When I called, they rejected the call and got back to me about 30 minutes later. The woman who showed me the room said she couldn't move me and told me to call the office with complaints. The office said all sea-view rooms were the same and there was no reason to change mine.
