The apartment was nice and had a little terrace, and the place was clean. I wasn’t keen on the cooking smells, since people prepare food there and that can be unpleasant. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, with stairs on the way down.

Lovely rooms and great hosts. Worth every penny.

Emma and Armin - Eforie Nord The place looks modern and has an electric stove and air conditioning. At first, the host seemed involved and willing to help with requests. But after a few days, things became uncomfortable. He smoked on the terrace while we were eating there. We used the terrace because the tables inside were too low to eat at. He also looked for work to do while we were trying to relax, and put fresh coffee back on the stand if it wasn’t arranged the way he thought it should be. When we used the air conditioning a lot, he pointed it out and said it was better to breathe the sea aerosols. What really bothered me was the argument at the end of the stay. I had agreed to pay for damage he said I caused, but he kept arguing with me about cooking. We’d seen each other several times a day while I was eating on the terrace, and he hadn’t said anything then. Only at the end did he say the stove was meant for certain dishes and that he hadn’t expected us to cook at the accommodation. I’d booked the place and wanted to make breakfast there, like an omelette, so I didn’t understand why I had to explain myself. Nobody told me when booking or arriving what I could or couldn’t cook on the stove.
