Really great.

That towel warmer was the one small thing that helped. Otherwise, the bedding and beds were awful, the shower barely had any pressure, and the floor was all tile with no mats. I had to watch the kids constantly so they wouldn't slip. The furniture and appliances were old, and people kept gathering by the window at a table with two benches, talking loudly.

The host made us feel welcome, and the guesthouse is beautifully decorated with real taste. Our room had a fridge and was clean, and the beach wasn't far away. Thanks for a lovely stay, we'd happily come back.

I returned this year after staying here last year, and the rooms are still spacious, quiet, and cleaned daily. The courtyard could use more greenery, and the beach is a bit of a walk, which may be why it's so peaceful. Those were the only reasons I gave four stars.

A quiet spot, with the beach not too far away. I'd come back here fondly and without hesitation.
