It feels like a little palace, tucked away down a hidden street past an industrial road where you’d think the town was ending. There are some luxury homes nearby too. I walked into the centre for dinner and had eggs made to order at breakfast. Glad I picked it.

We stayed one night and loved the beautiful room. Breakfast was delicious too. Such an amazing hotel!

We’d planned to stay at a different hotel in town, so finding this lovely place while searching on Google was a real stroke of luck. The room was lovely, and we were excited as soon as we walked in. Thanks for being so kind and helpful. This place really changed the direction of our trip, and we’ll be back.

Razvan and the staff were so personable and went out of their way for everyone staying there. They offer a hot breakfast, and if you ask, they’ll make you a generous plate of food. It was delicious. The customer service was outstanding, and the place is far nicer than most hotels or motels I’ve come across in the States. The rooms felt homey, new, and automated, with large windows that let in fresh air and plenty of natural light. Don’t be put off by the drive up. It’s a safe neighbourhood in an older industrial area where newer homes and restaurants are appearing. You’re a short drive from restaurants, shopping, and plenty to see around the Focsani area. I highly recommend this hotel.

After a long, unplanned journey, we were exhausted and booked the last place we could find. What a surprise. This hotel felt every bit as good as a five-star place in downtown London. One suggestion: put up a few signs on the surrounding streets. Waze got confused, though we did eventually find it.
