The place itself is okay, but the pool and jacuzzi were the only reasons I wanted to stay here, since they were advertised. I arrived Tuesday at midday while they were cleaning the pool. By evening, it was filling with water, but on Wednesday morning, in the middle of summer, it was empty. Very disappointing. False advertising.

Everything was fine for our one-night stay with my family, and the rooms were nice. The only issue was that the bathroom door in Room 207 wouldn't close.

A small, high-class hotel with everything new, modern furniture, and a very clean, pleasant feel. The staff are friendly and nice. One of the best places to stay in Focșani.

We spent a very enjoyable 10 days here. The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke good English. I chose Pensiunea Sara for the peace and safe parking just outside Focsani, as well as easy access to Route 2D. That national road through the Vrancea national park is a fantastic mountain drive and stays open through winter, unlike the Transfagarasan and Transalpina, which both close. If you like driving a high-performance car, take Route 2D from Focsani to Brasov. Thanks again to everyone on staff. Mark Evans Hastings U.K.
