Residence Riverside

We came to Riverside Hotel Restaurant with the whole family, and even my picky kids enjoyed their meals. The staff were kind to them and made sure they felt comfortable. Service for all of us was attentive without hovering, and the team knew the menu and wine pairings well. The food was the highlight. We started with creamy wild mushroom soup and a platter of cheeses and charcuterie. My grilled bass had crisp skin and tender, flaky fish, with nicely seasoned vegetables. My husband's steak was cooked just how he wanted, with a rich peppercorn sauce. For dessert, the banana coulis crepes were my favorite, while the kids loved the chocolate lava cake and its molten center. The dining room felt warm and elegant, with thoughtful details and soft lighting. We also liked the street view. I think there may be a garden too, but I'm not sure, so I'll check next time. The menu mixes Romanian flavors with international dishes, and the ingredients tasted fresh. This meal made our trip to the Romanian rural region a lot better. Mulțumesc mult pentru experiență! I'd happily come back to Riverside and recommend it to people I know.

Room 2a is spacious and clean, with a large terrace overlooking the river and a small kitchen. There's sometimes an unpleasant smell from the river outside, though shutting the windows and door keeps it from being noticeable indoors.

We were here for a family wedding in July, and the Riverside setting and wedding facilities worked perfectly for our family. The grounds are lovely, though they can smell a bit. Our room was simple but comfortable, clean, and air-conditioned. There were only two coat hangers, so we were glad we'd brought a couple for the wedding clothes.

The garden restaurant is huge, with rose bushes that make it feel romantic. Our room was large, with a king-size bed and a balcony looking over the garden and the Danube river. The hotel itself is beautiful, right down to the little details, and I really hope I can come back soon.
