Rubin Hotel

The location is nice, with a small park in front, and paid street parking is available. The hotel's own parking area is very small. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the towels are excellent quality. The beds were decent but not great, and the carpet needed a proper vacuuming.

The room was in terrible condition. The stools were barely standing, the shower wasn't properly bolted down, and I nearly fell with it. There was mold in the fridge. On the first night, an employee came to our room and threatened to kill us if we did anything, even though it was our first night. As he was leaving, I checked, and he thought I was laughing. He came back to strangle me, but my friends and I managed to kick him out. The locals were disrespectful (because all Hungarians are like this); not one person said hello or even sorry after bumping into me. Probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had.

The best thing about staying here for a couple of nights is being right in the city center.

The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was big, if I remember right, and the staff were friendly. It's an okay place, and everything else was up to standard. One waiter didn't pay attention and put the whole group's restaurant bill on my tab. I didn't have to pay it myself, but I needed a separate bill for my accountant. He was just too lazy to print one. They usually ask first, but he didn't.
