Aurelia Hotel

It's a low-budget place, mostly for workers, and seems to be deteriorating. Don't expect too much. If mosquitoes don't bite you in the room and late music parties in the dining room don't keep you from sleeping, it should be okay.

The receptionist was lovely. Since we arrived at 7am, she gave us a late checkout for free. The hotel was nice, with huge rooms and a big, secure parking area. We'll definitely come back.

The only thing I liked was the tasty food. The rooms smelled of cigarettes, service was very bad, and they charged us for things we hadn't done. The single beds felt fragile, with planks coming out when you sat on them. They had disabled the elevators, so my friends and I couldn't use them, and staff shouted at me for no reason. It's a very bad hotel, far from the center of Timisoara. Looks can be deceiving. I don't recommend it.

We were only stopping for one night on the way to the seaside, but the room was so hot we couldn't rest. The air conditioning didn't cool it, and it was colder outside, so we opened the windows. That let mosquitoes in, and between the heat and trying to get rid of them, we barely slept. We left much earlier than planned.
