Casa Dana

Okay.

It was okay.

For anyone who’s a light sleeper, be aware that two rooms have windows facing the main road, and you can hear cars constantly. That’s not the owners’ fault, but it’s something to consider. The room doors were difficult to close and squeaked. There was dust on the furniture and TVs, as if they hadn’t been wiped all year. The towels, which might once have been white, had turned gray, and the bed linen smelled awful. There was dirt everywhere, especially in the bathroom. The shower was covered in mold and stains, and the toilet brush was dirty and falling apart. If it’s always like this, those other five-star reviews are worrying. It would mean people live this way at home, too.

The orchard in the courtyard was lovely, and it was quiet enough to feel at home. It’s also close to all the attractions.
