The food is what would bring me back: it was beautifully presented and tasted so good. Service was quick, and the staff were attentive. We’ve been sightseeing around Romania after travelling from England, and now that we’re in Constansa for a beach break, this has been the best restaurant by far.

The host was very nice, and the location is handy for the center. But the room smelled of toilet sewage, and there was a lot of noise from the main road.

We weren't staying here ourselves, just stopped by to see friends after a mountain tour and relax for a bit. They'd been told beforehand that the place was free, but when we got there someone was already sleeping in the house. More travelers arrived later too, which didn't match what they'd been told. When the owner showed up, he spoke to us in an extremely aggressive and offensive way, calling us things like "little beak" and telling us to leave at once. We tried to speak calmly and politely, but got no respect in return. The owner's authoritarian attitude made the whole encounter deeply unpleasant, whatever the accommodation itself might be like. We can't recommend this place.

Mr. Ovidiu is exactly the kind of host you'd hope for. The place is close to the city center and offers very good conditions.
