The terrace is dog-friendly, and the setting is amazing with the Castle behind it. We ate at the restaurant after visiting Corvin Castle. The food was decent, though service was a little slow even with us as the only guests.

It’s an easy walk to the castle and train museum, and the old town surroundings have a rustic feel. The family rooms, good food, big playground and parking make this a perfect place to stay with the family when visiting Hunedoara. A great stay!

At Hanul Huniazilor, the cozy atmosphere and traditional feel made it easy to feel at home. The dishes were flavorful, nicely presented and well prepared, with generous portions. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. A solid choice for a great meal, just a step away from perfect.

We stayed for one night in April 2025. Dinner was delicious and the service was great. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed. The courtyard is lovely too, and there’s a great view of the castle.

The front desk lady was lovely, and she answered all our questions despite the language barrier. We had a quiet, clean one-night stay, and the food was great. I recommend the soups. The Corvinus castle is just two minutes away, so it’s a perfect place to visit it.
