I was welcomed warmly even though I arrived late, and the room made a great impression. It was clean and perfectly decent for the price. I don’t think you’ll find many hostels in Romania offering a clean private room at this rate. People complain about the surrounding area, but you can check it on Google Maps before booking, and honestly it isn’t that bad. Great value, and I’ll stay again when I’m in Iași.

I traveled with both my cat and dog, and there was no extra fee for bringing them. The staff were pleasant and even helped carry the cat’s cart up to the second floor. The room was clean and quiet, despite being on a busy street. The air conditioning worked, and the shower had what I needed.

The host was very friendly, and the room itself was clean, though small and without a view. The bathroom was decent too. There’s no restaurant nearby, and the outdoor area looks rough. It could be better, since there’s potential here.

The cat was a plus, and the place was pretty clean. The staff were friendly, but didn’t seem to realize guests need quiet too. We were on the ground floor, with windows facing the yard, and one morning at 6:30 a.m. staff started cleaning the windows from outside. That woke us up again. The walls are so thin that you can hear what staff and other guests are doing. Staff were especially loud at the front desk in the mornings, laughing and talking, and woke us between 6 and 7 every day, even though we’re heavy sleepers. The included breakfast was disappointing, and the hotel is quite far from the city centre.
