Grand View Hotel & Suites

My family and I thought the hotel was great, and breakfast was really good. We were up in the morning and stayed until 10 p.m.

The steak was very good and the sauce was okay, but the mashed potatoes spoiled the plate. It felt like the chefs had a contest to see who could add the most salt 😁.

The food was so good that eating at the hotel seems like the best choice if you're staying there. We were also impressed by the quiet setting, convenient location, and large parking area. Our room was spotless, the facilities felt modern, and the staff were polite. Great value for money. Congratulations, and keep it up!

The suites are roomy, and having a smart flat-screen TV in each room was nice. The hotel itself is attractive and I really liked how clean it was. Staff were polite, too. Most of our frustrations were with the restaurant and the checkout. The food was mediocre at best, very expensive compared with decent places in Iaşi, and the drinks weren't much better. Even with the restaurant mostly empty, service dragged. Waiting 40 minutes for soup is ridiculous. Loud dance music played in both the lobby and restaurant, which made the place feel cheap. The doors let sound through, with a visible gap underneath. At checkout, reception made us wait for the maid to inspect the room, supposedly to make sure everything was okay. They already had our credit card for damages, like hotels normally do. I’d never experienced that in any hotel I’ve visited, and it made us uncomfortable. Stay here if you like, but skip the restaurant.
