The central location was handy, and there’s a grocery shop open around the clock right next door. The stay was decent and the amenities were okay. There’s a hairdryer in the closet, but no elevator, so expect to carry your bags up the stairs. With the windows open it gets noisy, though closing them cuts the sound considerably. The walls are thin enough that you can hear people talking in neighboring rooms.

You can walk to most attractions from this central location, but it’s near a main street and gets noisy at night, with ambulance and police sirens too. The staff weren’t very friendly or helpful. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The room was a good size, with a queen bed that suited me, a large flat-screen TV, and a fridge stocked with drinks, beer, and liquor. The bathroom was big and had a shower. I parked on a nearby street where the hotel has a few spaces, and it wasn’t crowded. Overall, it’s a good hotel, but the information and service need work. Booking said breakfast was available for 20 lei, but they didn’t offer it, and were surprised when I showed them the listing. I also needed an invoice, but reception opened almost at 10:00, even though it was meant to open after 9:00. If you arrive after 19:00, they give you a code to get in. There’s no elevator, which is a problem for people who need one. The heating was another issue: I didn’t know I had to open a valve, and using only the thermostat and power buttons left me without heat for nearly two hours in the cold. Nobody was at reception, so I had to figure it out myself. Clear instructions, accurate breakfast details, and a way to get an invoice would solve a lot of these problems.

The room was clean and the AC worked very well. It gets noisy at night, but closing the window made it okay. There was also a particular smell that got into things. We felt the lack of slippers, robes, and a hair dryer was a downside.
