We only stayed one night because it was close to the airport and we had an early flight the next morning. The room was clean and tidy, but the TV didn’t work and the remote was dead. There was nobody at the front desk when we arrived. The place is meant to have a restaurant downstairs and rooms above, but it felt abandoned. After I called the owner, a staff member showed up in very casual clothes, and it felt like some random stranger was there to help us.

The one thing going for this place is its location, about a 15-minute walk from the Palace of Culture. In cold weather, be ready for a very cold night, and in warm weather for a hot day, since they don’t turn on the heating and the AC doesn’t work.

The room was only almost clean, and the bathroom had issues. The bed was awful, basically a piece of wood with a 10 cm sponge on top, so it was very uncomfortable. The poor materials used in the building make it extremely noisy. You can hear everything from the other rooms and the TRAFIC. The owners showed no regard for guests when they built the place. The worst accommodation I’ve ever had. Only stay here if you really need to.

The staff are friendly, the rooms are lovely and clean, and it’s peaceful around here.

The room was small, but clean, and the price was fair.
