Ramada Iasi City Centre

The prices are reasonable and the service is good. Ramada sits right in the center of Iasi, so it works well if your main plan is to explore that area. The rooms are a letdown, though. The furniture is dated and the whole place looks and feels old.

The location was great and the hotel was decent, but our room was extremely hot because the air conditioning was broken. When I asked about it, an employee basically said that was how things were there and I should deal with it. The room itself was nice, but the heat made it hard to enjoy. For similar prices, Airbnb has better options and good services. After this night, we're switching to one.

For anyone who values their time and peace of mind, I'd suggest choosing another hotel, especially for business travel or reservations by email. Getting a reply in English was frustrating: I often waited days, and sometimes got no answer at all. I repeatedly requested an invoice in Euro, by email and at the hotel. Reception said it would be sent, but even after several follow-ups weeks after checkout, I still only received an invoice in Romanian lei. Earlier, they had issued us a proforma invoice in Euro, and we'd paid that way.

It may be rated only three stars, but it's a great hotel. The rooms are extra large and exceptionally clean, and the location is central. Service was great too. On our last day, they even offered us breakfast to take away since we had an early departure. Highly recommended!
