The kitchen had everything we needed, and even the kettle was really good. We slept comfortably, and the host was quick to answer every question and offered useful tips on places to eat and things to see nearby. The stay went beyond what we expected. We'd happily return and recommend it to anyone.

There's a dishwasher in the well equipped kitchen, which was a nice bonus. The bathrooms were clean and neat, and the rooms felt comfortable with a nice design. Set in beautiful surroundings, it's a good place for both relaxing and getting out for activities.

We won't be coming back. The setting is gorgeous, and the rooms were clean and fine, but the yard was overgrown with weeds even though we'd told them ahead that we were bringing small children. Both bathrooms also had blocked shower drains, which made showering a real nuisance.

There was grime, including spiders and sticky, slimy tiles, and mousetraps were visible throughout the house. The upstairs had no toilet, which was awful. A hose ran from a bedroom window and connected beneath the sink to fill the cistern. The septic tank overflowed beside the house into the yard, then drained underground toward the nearby river.
