Complex Tismana All Inclusive

The food was pretty tasty, and we had no stomach problems. The pool was enjoyable, and we could use inflatables there. They had a magic show each night for the kids, but the magician's mean jokes and the strange things he taught them to say and feel bothered me. I wouldn't want him tutoring my children. There was aqua gym for kids and adults every morning. We didn't join, and the coach seemed funny but a little too nice for my taste. The drinks weren't good, and after sitting in their plastic cups for half an hour, the water smelled and tasted awful. I really don't think it's safe to drink. At the billiard table, the balls and cue were useless. One ball jumped off the table onto the floor tiles, bounced along, then went over the railing and nearly hit someone on the head. Our backs hurt after sleeping in the bed, which felt barely better than the floor. The place was too expensive for a three-star hotel. Mosquitoes kept biting us around the resort and in our room. When we switched on the air conditioning, it wasn't clean, and we had to leave the doors open for an hour that day to clear out the dust and smell. There was only one outlet in the whole room for two people, and no hair dryer in the room. There were only two or three at reception to share across the entire complex.

To me, the place looks fine. It's old Communist-era architecture with a fresh coat of paint, and doesn't look bad at all. The advertised prices seem a bit high, though.

A good choice for people who don't need anything fancy. The food was fresh every time, really good, and there was plenty of variety. The rooms were clean, if a little small, but we only needed a bed to sleep in. The pool was clean from morning until 18:00, and it's just a five-minute walk to the beach. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

The hotel was cosy, and the workers were lovely. I was travelling alone, and they helped me with a lot of things, including transport and information about Covid testing at Bucharest airport for travel abroad. The price was better than nearby hotels and cazares. If I return to the area, I'll try to stay there again.
