Apartament Ella T2

Great.

I tried to book another apartment they manage, Apartament Ella front view. They didn't issue an invoice and seemed to be trying to bypass Booking by asking for payment to a personal account in the name of Stoian Daniela, which other customers have described as “badara.” After I booked through Booking, the property canceled the reservation. I wouldn't book with someone who treats the people paying them with such disrespect. Maybe the owner doesn't know how the sales staff behave, or perhaps knows and tolerates it. If so, he has the same poor attitude as the employee asking for payment to a personal account. There are surely plenty of other welcoming places.

I called the owner to check that Ella's had two rooms free for Friday night, for four adults and four children. I wasn't asking for a discount or anything. She asked me to send my details on Wapp so she could check and get back to me with an offer, which was 2 lei less than Booking. I booked the two rooms I wanted through Booking, and right away she called, yelling that I'd booked there without talking to her. She said washing the sheets cost her more than the two rooms, which were 252lei x 2 = 504 lei, and told me to cancel because she wouldn't accept us. Then she kept messaging me on Wapp. I don't think that was okay at all. I hadn't asked for a discount or been disrespectful, and I booked at the price listed on Booking, not one I made up. What if I had booked through the site instead of with her? I think there are some protections available when owners behave inappropriately or unfairly. Because of her behavior, I canceled. It was a horrible experience, being yelled at just for making a reservation. I hope this is useful to you. All the best!

I stayed in an apartment this week through Booking. Communication during booking wasn't great, and when I took possession of the apartment, I found my Booking reservation had been canceled, probably to avoid paying the platform's commission. The apartment was fairly clean, but I wouldn't recommend it. The owner was especially abrasive and rude when I ran into him while barbecuing, with what I'd call “cotton plantation owner airs.”
