Our toilet leaked whenever we flushed, and even after the room was cleaned we had to ask for toilet paper twice. The rooms are okay and the view is good, but the breakfast was nothing special, and the tables still had crumbs and tomato sauce when we arrived as soon as breakfast opened. Twice, the man seating us checked our room number without taking the cigarette out of his mouth. The pool costs 80 lei per day even though it's inside the hotel. You also pay for the private beach, and the price goes up on weekends. The spa they mention is only available on the beach. Drinks there cost about triple what you'd pay elsewhere, even for water. One day our water and lemonade took more than 50 minutes. People who ordered champagne after us got their drinks first. The waiter had no explanation when we asked, then the manager said he'd forgotten to enter the order. She made it right by buying the drinks, which we quickly drank because we had somewhere to be, but we still waited over 50 minutes. We were a big group of hotel guests and still had to pay for beds on the private beach. More than once, the waiters seemed to treat us differently because we didn't order alcohol. The music was blaring, especially at night. Workers sat smoking on the stairs and didn't move when we tried to get past. The beach security was rude to my husband while he waited for me at the entrance to Azimuth beach. He told them he was staying at the hotel and that our group was having coffee at a large table in the beach restaurant. When my husband asked them to treat guests with more respect, the security guard said guests didn't matter and that someone else would take their place. He said that might have mattered in the 90s, but not now. Management was contacted several times about our bill and didn't respond. We were charged twice for two nights and for breakfast on our check-in day, when we arrived at 7:00 pm. THIEVES, literally! They charge for absolutely everything, and they need to make clear that not everything is included. The service needs to improve, and customers deserve to be treated with respect. For what we paid for one week for two of us, it wasn't worth it. An all-inclusive in Greece or Turkey is better, cheaper, and more luxurious. I'm coming from Canada, and my husband is Romanian. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
