Hotel Azaleea Mamaia Nord

Excellent.

The room had a kitchen, a gazebo, a playground for children, air conditioning and a minibar, so it could have earned the highest score. But the cleanliness was the biggest problem, and that’s why I gave it a low rating. The floor was dirty, and there was hair on the bathroom sink and toilet. I first thought the marks were part of the tile pattern, but wiped them with paper and confirmed it was dirt. I can’t say I simply failed to notice the hair. With a bit more attention, this place could definitely get five stars.

The villa is close to the sea, and the gazebo is superb. The barbecue is fine, too. Mrs. Cristina was very kind, and although there was a small mix-up over the third bed for our child, we managed to sort it out. We stayed in Room 204. It seemed small at first, but we got used to it. A suggestion: a shower-style tap at the villa entrance would let people rinse sand off their feet and help keep the room clean longer. Maybe a mop could be provided as well, for when you feel sand underfoot. Thank you so much for the rose seedlings. I managed to plant them. I’ll most definitely be back next year!

The owners deserve 1000 out of 5 stars, and it’s otherwise a 10 out of 5 star place! Still, the kitchen needs more dishes, and there’s an unpleasant smell in the toilet.
