Resort Leon Beach

The only real convenience was being near the beach, and our food arrived quickly. Beyond that, it was a letdown. At breakfast, the menu barely changed, it was crowded between 8 and 10, and for the last two mornings we couldn't get coffee because just one machine was working for everyone. The beach voucher gave a "discount" of 10 lei on everything 🤣. Lunch service was rough. I asked for my son's hamsie (fish) to be cooked well done, and waiter Alin answered rudely, "Do you want me to go in the kitchen to cook it well done?" He added plenty of comments whenever anyone in our group asked for something. The frozen potatoes cost far too much. Gicu, though, gave us amazing service. In the room, a light bulb fell from the living room ceiling right beside my kids. Housekeeping only came on request so as not to disturb guests, apparently, but who wants to keep trash under their nose? There was a horrible smell in the bathroom, and no parking space for our group despite what we paid.

The pool was nice, the food was tasty, and we were close to the beach. Our apartment was clean and roomy, and the staff were friendly. The one thing missing was private parking. At the price we paid, I really think it should have been included.

I always enjoy coming back here. The hotel is kept clean, the restaurant food is good, and the staff are thoughtful and very helpful. They also look after the beach they manage really well.

I spent almost a week here and had a great time. The food was fresh and tasty, and breakfast had lots of choices. My room was very clean and the employees were so friendly. I can't recommend this place enough, it was a great experience!
