A nice spot for a holiday.

We had the most unpleasant holiday this year. One evening after the beach, we found a SNAKE beside the shower in the bathroom. We couldn’t sleep there after that, and on Friday night we had to search all over Mamaia for somewhere else, tired and covered in sand. We couldn’t find anything, so we had to cut the trip short by two days. We’d paid for seven nights but managed to stay only five. The owners didn’t come to the villa when we asked for the money for the unused nights; they sent it through an acquaintance. During the whole stay, nobody changed our towels or cleaned. The owners were arrogant, and when we arrived the door handle was broken.

I stayed six days. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean, the furniture new, and the beds comfortable. There’s a nice yard with a barbecue area and secure parking, though parking around the area can be difficult. Since I’m into fishing, the owner lent me two rods. The canal is a five-minute walk away, with bream, perch, and pike to fish for. I’ll definitely be back next year.

The owners’ attitude doesn’t belong in tourism. They threaten you with having to pay for the stay four months in advance, even though the booking can be canceled free up to a week beforehand. Avoid this place.
