The shower enclosure was broken, so the bathroom ended up with a lot of water after I showered. That was just a small inconvenience, though. I stayed one night in early September and got a clean double room with a double bed, AC, fridge, and TV. The host was welcoming. Guests share a table in the hall with what they need for a quick bite, plus a kettle for tea or coffee. It’s around ten minutes to the beach, crossing the road. I thought it was good value for money and would recommend the guesthouse.

The host was very kind, and my room was spacious. It’s fairly close to the beach and quiet, depending on which neighbors happen to be staying.

I booked on Booking for 130 lei a night using holiday vouchers. After speaking with the owner, I was told the site price was wrong: it’s over 300 lei per night in cash, and even more with vouchers, with each leu counted as two. That’s why there are no customers, the owner wants to cheat them.

We stayed at Villa Nicola and loved the place. The yard and house were beautiful, everything was very clean and well ventilated, and the terrace was huge and lovely. We’d give it a 10. The owners were welcoming and treated us like family. Much respect and many thanks from us. We’ll definitely return.

We thought everything was superb and felt it was good value for money. The beach is just a five-minute walk away.
