With the air at 24 degrees and the water at 27, it felt just right, and a pleasant Black Sea breeze was blowing. The beach ran for 250m, with coarse shell sand and sun loungers stretching as far as I could see, but the tourists had all gone. I was parked in Madagascar, you mean? Kid, only two Indians from India were enjoying a box of Heineken beer, and I had one. Restaurants were empty. See you tonight at the Casino in Mamaia. There's an ad on the double-decker bus saying, “Free at sea???! What does that say to you??” The pictures say it all about what it's like by the sea.

You can hear nothing but the sea from the apartments, which are beautifully arranged and have a one-of-a-kind view.
