Waves 54 - Alezzi Beach Resort

Despite a few uncomfortable problems, the place is reasonably comfortable and looks nice compared with similar hotels. The receptionists were helpful about where to go, and people kindly opened the parking gate for us since we didn't have the chip needed to access it. But parking was cramped, and turning around was almost impossible. In our rooms, we had to put the sheets and blankets together ourselves. The blankets were dirty, with a yellow-green mix of something on them, and I'd rather not guess what it was. There was no hot water for a shower after a long day walking in the sun. Staff came twice but couldn't fix it.

We paid $300 per night, and the stay felt far from worth that price. Check-in was stressful: there was a closed parking gate and no clear sign or directions for finding the front desk or getting the car parked. We messaged the provided WhatsApp number at 3 p.m. and got no reply. A call around 9 a.m. the next morning went unanswered, as did another message. We finally reached someone by phone around 10 a.m. The woman who answered was rude and dismissive, saying we shouldn't expect them to check messages all the time. There was no hot water anywhere in the unit. The bed hadn't been properly made either, just a sheet tossed on it and a blanket for us to put into its cover. It felt more like a hostel than a resort. The whole visit was stressful, with poor service and basic comforts missing. I wouldn't recommend it.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the spacious rooms were beautifully decorated with breathtaking ocean views. Having coffee on the balcony in the morning and waking to the sound of the waves made the stay unforgettable. A lovely mix of modern style and relaxation. Highly recommended!

The rooms are spacious and have everything you need, especially if you're traveling with kids. There's a washing machine, fridge, and stove.
