It was okay.
The apartment is on the street, so traffic noise comes through. The location is handy for getting to the beach quickly, but the place itself was in rough shape. Doors wouldn’t close properly, the bathroom tap was broken, and the bulb had burned out. There wasn’t a pan, pot, or anything similar in the kitchen, just an old kettle with a broken handle. The coffee filter was dirty, so I didn’t risk using it and made coffee in the handleless kettle instead :) For 850 lei a night, I’d expect decent conditions, not a dilapidated apartment. I stayed in apartment 17.
Parking and an elevator were included, and the rooms were large. But for 730 RON a night, around 3 ca, I expected more. A lot of things in the room were broken, from the needle to the hair dryer, and the sink kept clogging. We didn’t even have a mop. It’s out in the middle of the Mamaia desert, with an impossible beach and nothing nearby to do with kids except the usual inflatable slides.
Apt. 7 was roomy, clean, and had everything we needed. There was air conditioning and a TV in each room, and the beach was just across the street. The apartment matched the owner’s description exactly. We were welcomed with cold water, coffee, and fresh fruit.
Impeccably clean, with crisp white towels and linen, and a comfortable, elegant feel. The team managing the place was professional, and all the amenities helped make the stay easy and pleasant. We had a very successful vacation. I’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a fabulous stay.
