Blue Beach Studios

We had a great time here with our son and would come back on another Mamaia visit. The sunrise views were our favorite part: some rooms face the sea, so you can see it from the living room, bedroom, or balcony, depending on which one you book. The beach was fine, though this year the authorities had brought in more sand mixed with broken shells, making it a little uncomfortable. There’s a Greek restaurant on site for meals and drinks. The food was good, though the menu wasn’t very extensive, and we liked the lemonades. A private parking lot nearby made arriving by car easy, and bus stops close by are handy if you’re using public transport. The rooms were tidy and clean, but a few things looked worn and could use a refresh, like the paint, doors, and bathroom fixtures. We’ve stayed here twice now because the location and facilities are good value for us.

The rooms have plenty of space and are fully equipped, though the shower and sink could be replaced. Parking is close by, and there’s a nice restaurant right on the beach. It’s a casual seaside place with an excellent spot at the edge of the beach.

The Greek restaurant downstairs can make things a bit noisy in summer. Still, the location is perfect and the rooms are really nice, so it was absolutely worth it. Five stars, and we’ll most likely come back.

We had a really good time, and the place was very clean with kind people. The only snag was that the AC wasn’t fixed during the five days we stayed.
