Hotel Aurora

My boy was crying when he saw the completely empty pool from our room, which had been sold with a swimming pool view. He’s 10, and the pool was the reason for this gift trip, so the stay was incredibly disappointing. I’d booked a more expensive room and they’d charged my credit card weeks earlier. A quick message to let me know the pool was out of service would have taken less than a minute. Instead, the hotel doesn’t update its facilities information and reception blamed the platform seller, Agoda. They should tell guests in advance that the hotel’s main attraction is unavailable. Advertising the “super pool” with pictures when it doesn’t exist in summer feels like a huge crime. The leaflet around the hotel is fake too, and none of the things it offers are working well. I’m tired of scams and fake advertising that take people’s money. Such a frustrating check-in, and the hotel clearly doesn’t care about people’s feelings. Everything is about money.

It’s about 200 steps to the beach, which is fine, and the beach itself was okay. The restaurant serves good meals at decent prices, and the service was great. The rooms are clean and fairly comfortable, but very small. The bathroom is only spacious enough for slim people.

We spent a pleasant holiday here for a good room price. The pool was nice, the location was great, and there’s a lovely patio that made meals even more enjoyable. The restaurant had lots of good food at really good prices, and the staff were very nice. The hotel had just been renovated, so the rooms were clean, too. I really liked that every room had a balcony. I’d recommend it!

The location is perfect, about a four-minute walk to the beach. Cleaning staff were really nice, as was the breakfast manager. Room 224 hadn’t been refurbished like the others, and my sister’s room 222 was much nicer. The TV was tiny, but having a fridge was a plus. When we arrived, the carpet was dirty and full of hair and sand.
