Great spot right on the beach, and a nice hotel.

Everything in our room was sparkling clean and smelled fresh. Even as someone who’s germ-phobic, I was completely comfortable. It had a sea view, a huge terrace, lovely furniture, and a spotless bathroom stocked with shampoo, shower gel, and toothbrushes. The towels and bed covers were perfectly white. I can’t put into words how beautiful the room was, or how kind and helpful the staff were. The receptionist gave us all the information we needed, and the smiling maid was so nice. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. If I were choosing a seaside holiday hotel in Romania, I’d pick only Golden Palace!

This buffet restaurant has seating indoors and outdoors, right on Plaja Aqua Beach. From the terrace, there’s a lovely sea breeze and beautiful scenery. The food was pretty good, and prices were reasonable.

The location is excellent, and the balcony has a marvelous view. The staff are kind, and there are free sunbeds at the nearby beach. Breakfast was mediocre for a four-star hotel. They have Covid safety measures in place, but don’t enforce them when people ignore them.

The beach view was wonderful, and the hotel itself was spotless with a pleasant smell throughout. It’s in a quiet part of Mamaia, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. My best hotel stay in Mamaia.
