Hotel Piccadilly

The photos were taken when we checked in, and the problems here are mostly about management, not housekeeping. There are unfinished and damaged things all over: marks on the walls and doors, dirty mirrors, missing floor tiles, and a bathroom handle that came off and looked as if it had been fought with. The mini fridge didn't even have a bulb. It might be clean enough for a three-star hotel, but there are imperfections everywhere. There was no Wi-Fi signal in our first-floor room above the lobby, and the network wasn't encrypted, which is a security concern. The breakfast room and hallways had no air conditioning, and the street side was covered in construction dust. The reception staff seemed bored and unimpressed. It's a cheap option close to the main beach areas if you don't expect much. Breakfast costs a lot for just two or three choices unless you book a rate that includes it. As someone who cares about cleanliness, I wouldn't choose this place. The management's response blamed the cleaning team, even though I had pointed out that replacing tiles and repairing things are management issues. They also ignored my note that the pictures were taken at check-in, not before checkout. That made me lower my rating.
