Avoid renting APT 28. There’s mold and mildew, and the bathroom was already damaged by a previous tenant. Read the contract carefully. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Apartment № 6 was the worst room I’ve rented in Romania. It was dirty, there was old food left in the oven by previous tenants, and the bathroom smelled bad. The owner wasn’t conscientious, and it felt like there was deception at every turn. A terrible stay. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We stayed in apartment 8, which has a bedroom and a living room with an open kitchen. There are differences between the apartments, but the building itself was inaugurated in May 2018 and practically everything is new. The space is generous, with modern furniture and drawers and cupboards throughout. The kitchen is well equipped, and the exterior shutter is remote controlled. The land lady was welcoming. Just be aware that the building is right next to the road that runs through Mamaia.
