The air conditioners were the real problem. We couldn’t sleep properly on either of our two nights because a neighboring unit kept making awful, constant vibrations and noise. We’re paying to rest, and that just wasn’t possible. I hope management deals with it. The location is handy, close to the heart of Mamaia and not too far from Crazy Beach, where things happen, but far enough away from the noise. The staff were very helpful, and the amenities were clean and well maintained. For the nightly price, the rooms are comfortable enough. It’s good, low cost accommodation, but anyone after more space or luxury should look elsewhere.

The place could set clearer rules and make sure guests follow them. People were eating seeds in the kids’ area, tossing cigarettes in the park, walking half naked in the hotel corridors, and bringing wine and beer into the kids’ area. The list goes on. I get that it’s hard for a business to pick its clients during a pandemic and crisis, but for the same price you can find something better in Bulgaria.

The reception staff were nice, and breakfast was good. There’s also an outdoor playground for kids. Still, the bed was uncomfortable, the floor was dirty, and there was mold in the bathroom.

It was disgusting and old, like stepping back 30 or 40 years into the communist era. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, not even my enemies!

The pool was really nice, but the hotel room was awful, cramped, and had a smelly bathroom.
