Hotel New Belvedere

The beach is right on your doorstep, and the on-site pool is perfect. Our room was very comfortable, luxurious, and clean, and the hotel had all the amenities we needed. Parking is secure, so I had no worries leaving our car there. The staff spoke perfect English and were polite and courteous throughout our stay. We’ll definitely stay again when we visit next year!

The room was large and clean, with a lovely sea view, and the hotel is clean, well maintained, and in a great location right on the beach. The private beach is a real plus, especially in times like these when keeping distance matters. The hotel calls itself five stars, but it doesn’t compare with a standard five-star hotel. I’d rate it four stars. The biggest problem was some of the staff, especially the reception ladies who checked us in and out. They seemed poorly trained in customer care, acting helpful and friendly because the manager might be watching rather than because they cared about guests. That’s a real minus. Parking costs extra, even though the accommodation is expensive for a city like Mangalia, which offers little beyond the beach and sea. On our last day, we were told parking was only available until 2 pm, so we had to move the car and return to the beach. Toiletries weren’t replaced daily, so we had to use our own on the second day, and the room terrace also needs daily cleaning. A two-night stay is perfectly fine, with good and bad points.

The private pool and beach are flawless, and I fully recommend them. The staff were amazing, and the client experience was 10/10. Congratulations to the hotel management for the care and attention given to each customer and the strategy they’ve adopted. The food was okay, neither great nor terrible, with some options for vegans and vegetarians. Breakfast was great, and it was nice having a dedicated chef prepare eggs, fried or as an omelet. Our junior suite was big, clean, and felt luxurious, though it had no balcony. That wasn’t a big deal, but it was a bit inconvenient for drying towels or swimsuits in the room. The parking place costs 35ron per day. Some people might find that awkward, but I knew about it from the booking and hotel site. Good value for money overall.

The room was spacious and clean, the food was delicious and varied, and the staff were more than friendly and very helpful. I was pleasantly surprised. My stay at New Belvedere hotel was a great success, and I recommend it.
