It’s nice to come back to a place where you can have a rest after an eventful day in the city Hotel "Solymar 1" is located in Mangalia. This hotel is located in the center of the city. Before going to bed, you can walk around the main landmarks of the city. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — St. George's Church.

The staff were so nice and helpful that we're already thinking about coming back. The hotel looks out over the beach, just a three-minute walk away.

We had a great weekend here with my husband. The garden out front was pretty and cozy, and it was regularly cleaned and watered. We liked the breakfast and found the staff friendly and polite. Our clean room had climate control and air conditioning, plus a very spacious terrace with chairs and a table, looking straight out to sea. It's a wonderful location, and for us the price and quality were the best option. I highly recommend it.

The location is good, and it's quiet, which seems great for families or seniors. But the sewer system wasn't working, and the bathroom smelled awful. Don't open the window for fresh air, there's no net, and you could spend nearly two hours killing 15 mosquitoes. After the room was cleaned, we found the door unlocked twice. Not recommended at all.

We had a nice view of the beach, and the hotel is right in front of the sea. The staff were nice, and breakfast was okay. The rooms are spacious with large balconies, though they're not very modern. The bathroom is big as well, but old fashioned and in need of refurbishment.
