We showed up at 10pm expecting an ordinary meal, then got a lovely surprise. The atmosphere was pleasant, the waiter was friendly and debonair, and the fresh traditional Romanian food came straight from the grill. Well worth a visit.

The hotel's location is good, but the place needs a major overhaul. The rooms smelled, and the cleaning was poor: empty beer cans and a wine bottle were left in drawers and on the closet, with a dirty cereal bowl tucked into another drawer. There were no mosquito nets, and the wall paintwork was a mess. Shame on the owner for running it this way. Avoid it.

They kept the rooms very clean and in good shape, and the food was exceptional. We also attended a wedding they catered, and the service there was excellent too.

Choose someplace else. The rooms looked like hell, and it was so cold that we had to sleep with our jackets on. You could hear someone sneeze several rooms away. There was also a private party in the restaurant that went on late into the night. DON'T COME HERE!!!

The rooms were cheap and clean, but unbearably hot without air conditioning. There’s a private party every weekend, though it does quiet down by midnight. Free street parking is available.
