The outdoor activities and the place itself were lots of fun. The room was good, with fresh linen, a minibar and toiletries, and breakfast was included and good. The Romanian server was on her phone, so I had to get up to ask her to refill the coffee cups. Salt and pepper weren't on the table, so I had to take them from another one. The food could be improved.

This is only about the restaurant. The food was alright, but the service ruined dinner for my family. We tried ordering in English, and it was barely possible. Only one staff member spoke English, and even they didn't know the menu items in English, so our order came out wrong. The others barely looked at us and tossed our plates down as if we were stray dogs. When we wanted a drink or the bill, they deliberately ignored us. We won't be coming back.

I stopped for coffee after cycling 10 km on my mountain bike, so I haven't stayed at the hotel yet. The hotel and restaurant sit in beautiful, quiet surroundings with lots of fresh air. You can eat outside when the weather allows, and there's a river running through the restaurant indoors. The staff were very polite. I'd recommend it for a nice time with people you love, and next time I'll try the food and rooms.

It's a great place for a holiday, with room for families, friends or bigger groups. The staff are great, probably because the owners appreciate them. Food is excellent, with a focus on Romanian specialties. If you want somewhere away from city noise, this is the place.
