Such a lovely host and a great-looking house. The location is great too!

We rented the villa for New Year’s Eve and had a good stay. The owner was very easy to communicate with. The rooms were large and clean, and there was enough heat. The kitchen was decently equipped, though an oven would have been nice. Outside, there’s a large yard and a barbecue. Since we were there in winter, outdoor toys weren’t needed, but a slide and swing would be ideal for children in warmer weather. I recommend it!

The location is great, close to the Transylvanian Amphitheater and Grădiștei Gorge. We’ll definitely come back, and I recommend it. There’s a spacious yard with a barbecue, ping pong table, swing, rocking chair, and slide. The clean, tidy house has a rustic, vintage style. The kitchen had all the essentials. Sleeping space was arranged in two large apartments, each with a huge bed in each room, plus a separate room with one large bed and one smaller one. The one thing missing was a hairdryer in the bathroom. Otherwise, everything was okay.

The biggest downside was the owner. His attitude was arrogant and rude, even though we hadn’t broken anything and had washed and cleaned up after ourselves. It seemed he expected us not to move anything, but we were living there, so it couldn’t stay perfect. We were given a portion of wood for the barbecue, and when we asked for more he said, “What do you want to do with them? You use charcoal for the barbecue!” When we were leaving, he yelled that we’d left a mess in the yard and hadn’t handed the house over at exactly 11. There were some children’s confetti caught in the snow and sticks from the stars, which I admit was our mistake. But we were trying to leave things neat, had even wiped two very visibly dirty windows, and he still yelled at us. We hadn’t complained about anything, and we cleaned the bathrooms, vacuumed the kitchen, and washed the floors ourselves. The place is very beautiful, and the house is acceptable if you like rustic style. The beds were comfortable, but cleanliness was a 6 out of 10 for me. The broom had half a handle, and when we asked for another, we were told it was small and we couldn’t fly on it. That was a very bad joke. The kitchen counter had dirt imprinted in the paint, so we each cleaned it. There weren’t many glasses and they were all different styles, and the plates were the same. That was our experience at Cheia 99. Everyone can decide what they like.
